Communities In Bloom
PCRC supports the Communities in Bloom committee and entry into Manitoba's Communities in Bloom competition each year. The committee facilitates the tour and links initiatives that are suggested by the judges to existing work happening in the community. This committee also organizes gardening workshops and talks for community residents to attend during the winter months. They choose different projects to supports for the City's beautification efforts

Garden Goodie boxes
Fresh food for the community!​

Each summer the PCRC plants and cares for small garden boxes in downtown Portage la Prairie. A variety of fresh greens, tomatoes, carrots and other vegetables await the lucky passerby!
