Services: Provides compassionate care to individuals living with a life-threatening or terminal illness, when hope of a cure is no longer medically possible, they provide support for the needs of the dying and their families. Financially, the program relies solely on donations and fundraising. Volunteers provide emotional and practical support whether the individual is in the hospital, living in a personal care home, or living at home. The palliative care program also offers drug program benefits, home oxygen benefits and compassionate care leave benefits.

Eligibility: Anyone - individuals or families who have a loved one with a life-threatening or terminal illness, when hope of a cure is no longer medically possible.

Cost: Free of cost to the individual or their family.
