The University of Winnipeg's second Teacher Cohort was another success with over 40 guests in attendance! This cohort will start in September, and applications are due by March 1st, 2026. Please follow the link above, where you will find the CATEP application form!                                                                                                                                     

 

As of December 31, 2025, the Government of Canada expanded its student loan forgiveness program to include teachers working in rural or remote communities (population under 30 000 people) for anyone accessing student loans to pursue education.
