The Good Neighbour Award goes to Stacy Turner!

Congratulations goes out to Stacy Turner -May's Good Neighbour!
The PCRC received a great email from Amanda Robinson telling us about all the great things Stacy has done
 not only to welcome the Robinson family to Portage but really stepping up for the Christmas toy drive and food bank. Thank you to Stacy for making such a great impression for Portage,
and thank you Amanda for nominating Stacy.



PCRC in partnership with the Daily Graphic/Herald Leader Press and Canad Inn Portage want to recognize these people that are making a difference in our community!

Stacy will received a certificate of appreciation, dinner at Aaltos and a nights stay at Portage Canad Inn.

Communities Take the Lead

Housing Forum held in Portage la Prairie

The Portage la Prairie and Central Plains Area Housing Forum was held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the PCU Centre in Portage la Prairie.

Keynote speaker Dr Tom Carter, spoke on housing issues, challenges and solutions in rural communities. Panel discussions combined with presentations from experts made up an interesting and informative day long event.
